Rush Hour in the Emerald City

 I took this shot from an overpass over I-5 looking south into downtown Seattle from the University District. July 23rd of 2014 saw the heaviest rain on this day of the year in Seattle history. Evaporating rain from the streets produced interesting light and atmospheric effects. The skyline of Seattle has the look of a matte painting. Note the bumper to bumper traffic typical of downtown Seattle during rush hour.
